Flying Insect Killer (FIK) is made from synthetic pyrethroids either in water or oil formulation. As a substitute for organic solvent based formulations used, water-based FIK oil in water emulsion was developed. The emulsion does not contain organic solvents. The chemical stability of Water Based FIK in the new oil in water emulsion is at least as good as in traditional organic solvent based formulations.
