| Product Data | The highly reliable MegaNAC 180 POS concentrator supports high-capacity dial access software and connects dial, leased analog and digital lines in 10/100 Ethernet LANs. The MegaNAC 180 chassis is a branch or regional concentrator chassis providing a full suite of uplink connections to support POS host mainframes requiring support of X.25, TCP/IP or SNA protocols. It also supports network access via CAS signaling (MFR1, MFR2 and Immediate Start) and CCS signaling for support of ISDN/PRI. | Speed - Transactions, Transports, Results | - Sets new standards in GUI-based management for detail, simplicity and speed
- Hypercom FastPOS offers high-speed, 9600bps modem technology specifically engineered for the POS network
| Flexible - Development and Growth | - Allows users to start small and expand their framework as new requirements develop
- Provides freedom to implement more cost-effective services, to continuously integrate newer application and to tailor a complete network solution that extends existing environments
- Supports data and POS
- Port processors individually operate specified applications without diversion or interruption from other applications in the chassis
- Interchangeable port processor allow everything to be changed, without changing anything. New services can be added or existing ones upgraded with dedicated port processors without time-consuming network redesigns or forklift upgrades
- Allows offices to centralize or compartmentalize traffic from a combination of WANs, including Frame Relay and IP
| Reliability Built In | - Built on a framework that relies on standards and industry experience
- Chassis can be used separately or combined to scale to any network requirement
- Utilizes a unique internal transport mechanism and encryption technology which has the ability to transport data in its native mode, saving bandwidth and providing secure transmission for transactions
- Client/server architect provides comprehensive activity and performance statistics, alerts and alarms and remote downloads and upgrades
