Malaysia My Second Home Programme is promoted by the Government of Malaysia to allow people from all over the world who fulfill certain criteria, to stay in Malaysia as long as possible on a social visit pass with a multiple entry visa. The Social Visit Pass is initially for a period of ten (10) years (depending on the validity of the applicants' passport) and is renewable. It is opened to all citizens of countries recognized by Malaysia regardless of race, religion,gender or age.Applicants are allowed to bring along their spouse ,children below 21 years old who is not married and parents above 60 years of age. Incentives All approved applicants will enjoy special benefits by the Government for this unique program. The incentives / benefits include: 1) A 10 years Social Visit Pass and Multiple – Entry Visa will be issued to the applicants. 2) This 10 years Social Visit Pass and Multiple – Entry Visa is guaranteed renewable if you didn’t violate the laws & rules in Malaysia. 3) You are free to stay in Malaysia and travels as often as you like. 4) Applicant is entitled to enjoy to import duty free car from your home country or purchase a new local assembled duty free car . It is a great saving. 5) School going children will be given student pass to further their studies at international colleges and universities. 6) You are allowed to employ a maid. 7) You are allowed to invest and actively participate in business, 8) For housing loan, you can obtain up to 80% as compared to normal 60% for foreign applicants (subject to credibility). 9) No need to obtain Foreign Investment Committee (FIC) approval for purchasing properties in Malaysia. 10) Oversea income is not taxable in Malaysia. Under this programme, for those countries that have a double taxation agreement with Malaysia, your private pension fund remitted to Malaysia is exempted from tax. 11) Parents of participants who are over 60 years old can come to Malaysia together with the participants, under a special Social Visit Visa with duration of 6 months and is renewable until the expiry of 10 years visa of the main participant. 12)Participants aged 50 and above with specialised skills and expertise that are required in the critical sectors of the economy, are allowed to work not more than 20 hours per week. Subject to the approval of the Expatriate Committee of the Immigration Department of Malaysia In order to qualify for The Malaysia My Second Home Programme Visa (MM2H Visa) you will need to proof to the Malaysia My second Home Programme Centre that your intention to come to Malaysia is not for employment purpose. A) Upon Application ( For documents required please contact us.) Applicant age below 50 years are required to show proof of your offshore monthly income of MYR10,000 (About USD3000). And show proof of your cash saving in the bank worth a minimum RM500,000 (About USD140,000). Applicant age above 50 years are required to show proof of your offshore monthly income of MYR10,000 (About USD3000). And show proof of your cash saving in the bank worth a minimum RM350,000(About USD105,000). ( Saving in the bank can be in any bank in any coutry and in any currencies. Total amount must equivalent to Malaysia Ringgits) New applicants who have purchased residential properties in Malaysia of RM1 million and above qualify for a lower fixed deposit placement upon approval. That is RM150,000.00 ( Age below 50 ) and RM100,000.00 (Age above 50 ) B) Upon approval Aged above 50 years and aboveCan either chose to: 1)Open a fixed deposit account of RM150,000 ( About USD 47,000 ) in Malaysia local bank. 2) Show proof of government approved pension funds of RM10,000 (pensioners with goverment approved funds)After a period of ONE year, participant aged 50 years and above who fullfill the Fixed Deposit can withdraw up to RM50,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education fund for children in Malaysia and medical expenses.Must maintain a minimum amount of RM100,000 from second year onwards until the participants decide to terminate their participation in MM2H Progarmme. Aged below 50 years old Open a fixed deposit account of MYR 300,000 ( About USD 94,000 ) in Malaysia local bank. After a period of ONE year, participant aged below 50 years can withdraw up to RM150,000 for approved expenses relating to house purchase, education for children in Malaysia and medical purposes. Must maintain a minimum amount of RM150,000 from second year onwards until the participants decide to terminate their participation in MM2H Progarmme. 1)Participants must also go for the medical check up by doctor in Malaysia local hospital OR Clinic with qualified doctors. 2)Purchase the Medical Insurance from Malaysia local Insurance companies.
