| User Friendly |
| ET630 is easy to install, program and use. It has a 4x4 matrix membrane keypad with feather-touch keys for users to key in data or selection. A large backlight graphical LCD display gives precise information to users of equipment status and what data is needed to be keyed in from the user. The programming menus are simple and easy to understand and requires minimum of setup time/configuration to keep the equipment up and running. |

| Networking to PC |
| For small offices requiring just one unit of ET630, it can be directly linked to PC's via a RS485 cable which is supplied with the unit. For larger offices, up to 16 units of ET630 can be connected together using RS485 bus, and the units can be located up to 1 km apart. |

| Large Memory |
| ET630 is provided with a large memory (256K-bit EEPROM) to back up transaction records. This memory is non-volatile, meaning that data stored inside the memory will not be affected when there is power outage. |

| Onboard Back-Up Battery |
| ET630 has a calendar clock with onboard back-up battery and will continue to run for more than 12 months even when AC supply is cut off. |

| Basic Access Control Features |
| ET630 has basic access control function. The relay output from ET630 can be connected to an electric lock for access control. When a valid card is read, this relay will activate. |

| Firmware Upgrade |
| ET630 uses a reliable 8-bit microcontroller, with firmware stored in Flash Memory. The firmware can be updated in-circuit, through serial download from PC. |

| Database Mode |
| ET630 is operated in 3 types of database:-
| Access Database Cards (White) - Only the cards installed in the database are valid cards. | | Decline Database Cards (Black) - Only the cards installed in the database are invalid cards. | | Access All Cards (Normal) - All cards are valid cards. |
