S&J is the "first of it's kind gift and collectable" chain store in Malaysia. If you are looking for a unique gift or gift idea that's a little different, a little better & something nice that doesn't cost the earth, S&J is the shop for you.
S&J is the brainchild of two ambitious brothers, Sam and Jeff, who loved to buy souvenirs for their friends when they went overseas. Seeing the smiles on the faces of their loved ones when they received the gifts gave the brothers a sense of satisfaction that the time they spend buying and selecting the gifts where well paid off.
Due to popular demand, they found themselves carrying empty bags only to fill them with gifts. Their friends would always request for them to buy additional presents.
Many of the items that they bought back were exclusive and one-of-a-kind. So they thought that it would be nice if people in Malaysia had a choice to buy special and unusual gifts without having to fly out of the country. Hence, they decided to open a store. Paring both their initials, the 1st S&J started off in a tiny shop in Jalan Sungai Dua, Penang.
Soon customers started flocking in to their shop. The brothers were always at hand to recommend unique gifts for their customers. Hearing the shoppers say "Yes, this was what i was looking for!" and "She/He will love this!" encouraged the brothers to open more branches.
